Meet Nagpur Metro

EDITORIAL

A whirlwind project. Nagpur Metro wanted to commemorate its launch with a record of its short but eventful journey. As it happens, we had only about a month and half to complete a coffee table book – from ideation to shoot, to final layout and delivery.

The book takes the reader on a journey through Nagpur—of the present and future—drawing attention to all the newness it will bring to the city, putting the reader in the shoes of commuters at various times of day, and implanting the vision of a city of the future.

Nagpur has never yet had a metro. It was clear to us that the stations would become mini city centres over the course of the years; which is why we treated each such location as a hero.
