The brief
Paharpur is a winner on all fronts: a market leader, a process cooling specialist, an innovator, and partner to industry. It has deep roots in the Indian market and owes its continuing success to a solid tradition. As the group ages, its long-term vision prompts some changes. Our task was to find the delicate balance of reforming Paharpur’s visual identity and communication without changing the primary marker of the brand, i.e., the company’s logo.
The work
We set ourselves many goals – refine brand architecture, reform identity to match contemporary needs, simplify product discovery and increase enquiries from mid-market buyers, revamp product literature and set the stage for a changing future.
We gave the brand a new font family. A sharp, contemporary typeface that signaled precision, stability, and great flexibility.
The reformed identity served to unite the Group’s two business verticals – wet cooling solutions, and dry cooling products. As Paharpur acquired their primary competition (SPX Dry Cooling) in the international market, the Leadership Orange found its way into the communication more and more.
We conducted a complete overhaul of Paharpur’s product literature. At every stage, reinforcing the company’s leadership position and articulating why Paharpur is like no other cooling solutions provider in the global market.
We put a great deal of focus on information design and created many infographics for print and digital.
As part of our extensive rebrand of Paharpur, the website was given a complete overhaul. A crucial aspect of this website was to assist the sales team in sorting enquiries and set the stage for digital marketing activities.
