If culture has a task, it is to bring people together in ways that people cannot achieve on their own. In 2018, a few hundred businessmen, among them many tycoons of industry, came together to connect with one another, build relationships, and inspire mutual growth & business.

In early 2017, we were approached by a team of businessmen looking to form a new chamber of business and commerce. To commemorate its launch, we planned an event. The new body, titled VCCI (Vipra Chamber of Commerce & Industry), had an ambitious vision, and the event had to match the grandiosity of this vision.

The event was planned at Jaipur’s Rambagh Palace, Titled ‘Sarv Utkarsh’, the day-long event comprised seminars, debates, workshops and sessions on the state of business, the future of the Indian & global economy, and strategies to promote Make in India. Our brief was to make sure that the event is a spectacle to admire and an experience to remember. We engaged prominent fine-artist Gouranga Kuila to brainstorm ideas for the design. The result was an imposing stage inspired by the lotus, a distinct gate formed out of steel and a specially fabricated thermacol material, built to resemble a petal laying on the floor.
